“Virtual” Spring Fest

With Stay At Home orders firmly in place in Delaware County and Southeastern Pennsylvania, the 7th Annual Haverford Spring Fest is going Virtual. Thanks to COVID-19 restrictions on large public gatherings, the hugely popular festival in Haverford Township, which has drawn as many as 10,000 attendees in prior years, must stay at home. As a result, instead of one day, the Kelly Music for Life team has decided to make it a 3 day LIVE Stream from Home event including over 50 performers.

“We are turning lemons into lemonade,” says Tom Kelly, Chairman, and Executive Director. “We’d rather be outside. But delivering entertainment this way has allowed us to expand the format and include many more performers. The global Pandemic affects our community, performers, businesses, and the mission of our non-profit organization. In times of crisis,” Kelly continues, “Music and the Arts have the unique power to create a shared experience. Music and the Arts remind us of the essential nature of the human connection. Music and the Arts are needed now more than ever.”
